Corrections to the book

Page 141, including photo, and index page 267: "Jack Ballam" should be "George Ballam".

Page 241: The formula included on this page for converting ounces to grams is for avoirdupois ounces. For gold, the weight should be expressed in troy ounces. One troy ounce is equal to 31.1034768 grams. A pennyweight is 1/20th of a troy ounce.

Page 6: If you wish to calculate an amount expressed in £s, shillings and pence would be worth today, the Reserve Bank website page mentioned opens a decimal inflation calculator. Pre-decimal calculations can be undertaken at http://www.rba.gov.au/calculator/annualPreDecimal.html.

Page 42, 12th line: "Widsom’s" should read "Wisdom’s".
